Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before signing the rental agreement form. This agreement is entered into between Tiago Paulo Azevedo with VAT number 229 134 807, owner of the domain sesimbrasuprentals.com ("we" or "us") and the customer ("you"). Wherever used herein, the term 'equipment' includes any rental equipment, related accessories and/or parts.

 

Rental Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to rent equipment and provide a valid identification document for invoicing and security deposit/purposes.

 

Rental Period

The rental period starts from the time we deliver the equipment and continues until the equipment is returned to agreed location. Rental rates are calculated based on a days or week, as specified in our pricing schedule, or other agreed with the customer.

 

Equipment Condition

You agree to inspect the equipment before renting it and notify us of any existing damages or issues, you are responsible for returning the equipment in the same condition as it was rented. You will be liable for any damages, loss, or theft of the equipment during the rental period.

 

Rental Responsibilities

The customer will not make any modifications or alterations to the equipment, nor install accessories (camera / photography accessories, etc) on the equipment without prior written permission. The loss or destruction, total or partial of the equipment and its accessories constitute the customer to compensate for the inherent damages. You are responsible for returning the equipment in the same condition as it was rented. Subleasing or sub renting the equipment is prohibited. The equipment should be lock when not in use and you should take appropriate measures to prevent theft.

 

Rental Fees & Payment

Payment must be made in euros, up-front and in a method accepted by us at the time of booking. For deliveries in Setúbal (City) we charge a fee of €7,50.

 

Payment platforms: REDUNIQ, Eupago, Stripe, PayPal, Revolut.

Payment method: Cash, Visa, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Mobile Payments, Wire Transfer, Revolut.

 

Security Deposit

A security deposit is mandatory before delivering the equipment and will be refunded up to 48 hours to the renter upon the safe and undamaged return of the equipment. If necessary, additional charges, such as late fees, damage fees, cleaning, or recovery fees, may be applied.

 

Liability and Insurance

During the rental period, the customer is fully responsible for any and all damage caused to the rented equipment, by himself and/or third parties. Please check with your existing Life Insurers all personal cover for accidents, injuries, or any other damages. We are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property arising from the misuse of the equipment.

 

Rental Extension

If you wish to extend the rental period, you must contact us in advance. Additional fees may apply for rental extensions.

 

Cancellation & Refunds

We will refund the entire amount (deposit and rental fees) in case of cancellations up to 72 hours before the date of delivery. For cancellations less than 72 hours we will refund the entire deposit and 75% of the total rental price. No refunds will be provided for late arrivals, late pickups or situations of no-show. Additional charges, such as late fees, damage fees, cleaning, or recovery fees, may be applied if necessary, and deposit will be lost.

 

We reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement at any time for any breach of the rental terms and conditions.

 

We reserve the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time, and such changes will be effective upon posting the updated terms on our website or notifying you directly.

By renting equipment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree all these terms and conditions.
